Ali Benson distinctly remembers at the age of three wanting to be a singer and as soon as she could hold a pen she's been writing songs. Traditional Celtic and folk music are her preferences but she also enjoys singing music in the styles of jazz, blues, and rock.

Ali was a member of the renaissance folk band The Three Ravens for almost two years and through that has experimented with such instruments as the whistle, recorder, autoharp, and some percussion. Ali was trained in theatre performance, and though she has no formal music training, her passion for singing traditional music is an inspiration.
